Saturday, March 7th

:: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Course preview and walk available
:: 1:30 PM - Walk the course with USSSA Director Mark Elmore.
:: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Race Check-In / Registration (Day of race registration and check-in also available)

Course Information:
Course low elevation: 4100'
5K High Elevation: 4400'
10K High Elevation 4650'
Terrain:
The terrain may change and vary depending on weather. Typically this course will be:
50% Hard packed with ample width for passing and being passed.
25% in the TREES and more single track and technical (not that technical).
25% moderate and varied -- a cross between the two terrains listed above.
The courses feature a variety of terrains, with some groomed, some hard packed, and some back country portions. For the 5K course participants will complete a 2.5K loop twice, and for the 10K course, competitors will complete a 5K course twice. For the relay, each of the three competitors will complete one 2.5K lap. The relay will feature three divisions: Male, Female, Mixed.
Start and Staging - White River West Sno Park:
From Portland take HWY 26 to Mt. Hood. Continue past Government Camp a few miles to the HWY 35 junction. Take HWY 35 (North/East) towards Hood River. The Sno Park will be a few miles past the intersection on the west side of the road. Be sure to have a valid Sno Park Permit. They are availabkle at most businesses in Government Camp and at regional sporting goods stores. More information.
