One incredibly thrilling adventure.
Requirements:
None. Anyone may participate. No qualifying is necessary and all abilities are welcome.
Course:
The course will cover 6-8 miles of diverse and challenging terrain.
No special skills will be required,
but some dirt under the nails is likely. There will be some significant elevation gain and loss.
There MAY be one official aid station on the course (weatherand access permitting) - it will be located as close to the half-way mark as possible. If
you think you will need aid... carry it.
Awards:
Awards will be given to the top finisher in each age group (14 &Under, 15-19 and then up in 5 year intervals. Men and women).
Overall awards and top masters awards will also be given. The awards ceremony will be at Timberline Lodge at 12:30 PM.
TEAMS
Team
awards will be given to the top men's, women's, and mixed team. Teams will consist of three
members . Scoring will be based on cumulative time.
CAMPING:
There is a great deal of camping nearby, and there are also many epic cabins available for rent. We will announce where the crew is posting up in June. The closest campground is Still Creek, and Trillium Lake is nearby too. If you want to be down off the mountain try Toll Gate!

About Timberline Lodge and the venue on the Mt. Hood:
The lodge and the event start at 6,000'. There are more than 1,000 acres of terrain at Timberline,
including
4,000' of vertical options. The ski area and biggest slopes in the Northwest will set the course
up as one of the best mountain runs in the US. Terrain will include slopes, trails, skid roads, and any other shaggy
deemed as worthy. |
