Monkey Business Awaits at the 17th Kevin's Cup Welcome to the Jungle The Vine
It is that time again. Time to fool around.
Come join us for the 17th Annual Kevin's Cup.
There will be all kinds of jungle love and a course that may have you swinging from vines. Or maybe we'll just have red vines after the race. There probably won't be any real parrots (unless Pete puts one on his head), but there will more than likely be some bananas. The course will surely insight a few Tarzan cries.

After the run is when the real jungle love begins -- we will give you directions to one evening of fun and monkey business. All we ask is that there is no throwing of excrements.

This year will again feature the Tarzans and the Janes... historically called the pace dudes and pace babes. They will offer some savory prizes and crap.
After the gig will be a feast with jungle fare -- maybe some Jungle Juice? The celebration will continue into the night -- you may just go coconuts.

** Apologies! We were not able to get permission to have a monkey play an organ. We will make up for it with extra peanuts.

The 8K Course:
This nasty lil’ trailers serves up a variety of challenges… mud, creeks, trails, brutal ankle twisting switchbacks, bone-jarring down-hills,  lung-searing up-hills and more.  If you are looking for some cutesy downtown commercial road race… save the coin.
If you enjoy the eye watering, sweat dropping, and snot flying challenge that this course will promise -- then… risk the skinned knee, scraped elbow, and damaged ego and run it.

Some people just come and play. Last year Space Ghost ran!

AWARDS:
The carnival of events will honor division winners with extremely unique recognition.  THESE awards will be certain to grace each recipient’s mantles for years!

DIRECTIONS:
The festival of events starts and finishes at Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, Oregon.  From Portland, head south on Macadam (HWY 43) and follow it through Lake Oswego.  The park will be on your left – 3 miles from Lake Oswego.

  PERKS - GO BANANAS!:
PACE DUDES & PACE BABES:
The perennial favorites!  SIX “Pace Dudes and Pace Babes” are placed throughout the race course.  The festive individuals will appear on the course randomly – the first participant to catch the individuals will receive a groovy prize… or “the LAMP“. YES THE LAMP OR SOMETHING RETURNS THIS YEAR!

CUSTOM BEVERAGE GLASS:
All finishers get a hip lil’ drinking vessel.

There are always post event festivities! Pay attention! Last year was a soiree at the Rialto downtown, and then some after shenanigans that would make you go bananas... what's next? Details at the event!
