McCubbin's Gulch
More than 100 camped and 69 finished the Creek Streak.
McCubbin's Gulch experiencesd a great turn-out, spectacular weather, unbelievable camping, Torrey Lindbo bashing his skull open, and naked Hula Hooping... and none of that happened during the race. !
Torrey Lindbo championed his third McCubbin's Gulch race, while Audra Herndon won her first -- after five top three finishes.
All the results are posted. Brian Conaghan Photography has photos posted and we will be posting video and photos next week.
The Tillamook Burn is next on the schedule, and it may be our best course this year. It is a new event and serves as the XTERRA OREGON TRAIL SERIES final event. It is a trail run with some rockin' terrain and a couple lil' scramble sections thrown in.

YES... to the left are a couple naked guys hula hooping at McCubbin's.... I can't guarantee that will happen late night at the free Tillamook Burn camping... but it is Gina Bacon's 40th birthday.
