The Iris Festival Half Marathon and 10K courses feature well maintained and very flat trails. The routes should prove to be quite fast.  The start and finish are located in the historic Willamette Mission State Park. Post event festivites will include an abundance of food, and beverages! Come join us and enjoy a tremendous run through the country!

Location and Directions:

Willamette Mission State park is about 30-miles south of Portland. The park is just North of Salem/Keizer.
Directions from Portland:
Merge onto I-5 South. (30 miles)
Take exit number 263, towards BROOKS/GERVAIS. 0.3 miles
Turn RIGHT onto BROOKLAKE RD NE. 1.7 miles
Turn RIGHT onto WHEATLAND RD N. 2.4 miles
You're in the vicinity of the state park. Look for the state park shield or name on a sign along the roadway.

Enjoy the Iris Festival:

The half marathon and 10K are part of Keizer’s Annual Iris Festival. Come celebrate!  For information about the 55th annual Iris Festival visit the Keizer Chamber of Commerce website.  There will be a vareity of activities to entertain you!

Half Marathon and 10K Registration:
The half marathon field will be limited to 500 and the 10K will be limited to 400. Be sure to register early. Registration options:
* In store at Gallagher Fitness Resources in Salem.
* In store at FootTraffic in Portland (three Portland area locations).
* Mail-in. Printable application.
* Online via Active.

Awards:
Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers and the top masters in each event. Age group winners will also receive recognition. Overall winners will also receive bouquets of local Iris.  Age group awards represent 5-year increments.  (14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, etc.)

The Courses:
The courses will be USATF sanctioned. The 10K will be a one loop course traveling primarily on well maintained trails. The half marathon will follow a similar loop, but complete it twice. Naturally, there will also be a slight modification to the half marathon course to ensure that it is accurate.
