The Gig...
is gonna cost you $15 if you register early, $20 if you don't -- and $25 if you wait until the day of the event! – If there is any space left available. These are all small fees when you compare it to the price your body will pay.  This event isn't designed for the pansy-ass front avenue runner -- DO NOT expect some cutesy lil' downtown 5k, or some wussy boy trail-run.  This mother is packed with adventure: hills, creeks, rock, dirt, heavy brush and more.  Wear clothes you don't mind ruining, and bring band-aids if you are concerned about some bleeding. As for aid stations... there is plenty of water on the course, but I'd think twice about drinking it... especially after you waded through it.  As for the distance, well it’s about 6-miles or whatever"K".  We'll time you, give you awards, probably some watermelon, and hell, we may even throw a few beers -- all you have to do is finish.  Think you’re up for it?  We are ready for you, and to quote Shakespeare’s Henry V, "he who shed his blood with me, shall be my brother" See you on the hill.

Finding the Mayhem:
The race starts and finishes at the White RiverWestSnowPark on Mt.Hood.  From Portland, take HWY 26 to Mt.Hood, then just past Government Camp take HWY 35 towards HoodRiver (east).   The park is a few miles past the HWY 35 / HWY 26 interchange. If you get lost finding the course, you will be in big trouble once you are on it.

CAMPING

Many participants and spectators prefer to camp the night before the event.  Check the X-Dog NEWS section to see where the fun will be staying.  OR e-mail Kevin.  We have has as many as 100 camping in the past.

CAMPING DETAILS:
We will camping the night before (or two) at a nice little space right on the east fork of the Hood River.  The camping is about 10-miles from the event start (White River Sno-Park). From White river head north on HWY 35.  The camping is about 500’ south of the Sherwood Campground.  Signs will help you!  Come and camp and have some serious fun! Everbody is welcome.

ADRENALINE CHARGED ADVENTURE.
